Jamie
Stark
a.k.a.Mr Knob
The FUN and WIT side! This guy is a killer on the
phone....he can have you laughing in minutes!
Jamie grew up around the Edgerton/Edon area of Ohio. For you
outside of the area, it’s the extreme northwest corner of Ohio.
He is the son of Dairy farmers. What a life that was I hear.
He and his sibling spent their time playing games of tag where you had
to stay on top of the stall gates. I’m not sure exactly how this
was done except he has mentioned they would end up running down the top
edge of the gates and jumping onto the next. We’re talking a
tubular gate of maybe 2” diameter tubing. Another tag game was
cow pie tag. They would jump from cow pie to cow pie. You
couldn’t step on the ground with your bare feet, I guess, or you would
be out! Ahhhh....... the life of a dairy kid.
Believe
it or not he went on to college for business. He would have rather
gone for art though......but what good is art on a dairy farm?
He did a year or so of study and decided he just ..didn’t ...like ....
it! Jamie ended up somehow in life working as the staffing
coordinator for a nursing pool. He has worked on the telephone
going on 15 years now! Jamie tends to be the business side of
things at the mill. Isn’t it funny how life seems to turn around
and nip ya in the butt......Jamie should have stayed with business.
A few years back now, he found some angora goats in the free ads paper.
Growing up they always had a couple of goats around the farm, so he
thought ‘Why Not?’ So he got them. Now what the heck to do
with them ....LOL. We wouldn’t know until he met up with Matt
Mabis. By accident, or by fate?

Matt
Mabis
a.k.a. Mr Wooly
Matt was born and raised in the little town of Antwerp Ohio.
Antwerp is one of those small towns on the stateline between Indiana and
Ohio, in the extreme northwest corner of Ohio. He was a
strange and precocious child who grew up to be a tall, long haired hunk
of manhood ( hey, since I’m the one writing this, I can write this any
way I want to... LOL) Matt went to college to teach both art and
music, was a lousy, undisciplined student, went four years and ran out
of money. He ended up working in a glass factory for 13 years
until he was offered a better job in Michigan. That turned out to be a
false offer and he ended up at a cabinet factory in Indiana.
Matt’s life growing up had always been one of art and construction (
his father was a self employed cabinet maker, his mother, heavy into
needle arts and quilting) Matt himself was obsessed with American
Indians and at an early age began laying the foundation for the rest of
his life. What his life would be wasn’t determined until that
meeting with Jamie.
.........a partnership was born!
For
the rest of the story, you'll have to go to the history page! ;-)
